Albanian youth team tackles summer camp season with maximum commitment.
Despite their young age, a group of dedicated teenage girls, Klaudia, Belinda, Ana, Leona, Fiori, and Anonela, carried significant responsibilities throughout the summer season. For three consecutive months, they actively served as volunteers in A2B Albania’s Summer Camps.
These young volunteers, aged 12-17, successfully led different activities during the camps, including the crafts, Bible and social story sharing, games, and drama. Their commitment extended to multiple locations: Elbasan, Rrogozhinë, and Përmet, and they also partially supported activities in Peqin.
Each day the girls approached their service with remarkable dedication, preparing with enthusiasm, creativity, and seriousness. They built strong relationships with the children from the Roma and Egyptian communities, especially in Rrogozhinë. Their positive influence was deeply felt and appreciated.
What makes their story even more inspiring is their expressed desire to continue serving throughout the year in Rrogozhinë and Përmet. Additionally, we are deeply encouraged by the cooperation of their parents, who supported their children’s engagement and allowed them to be actively involved in this meaningful mission.
These young girls are our heroes of the summer season! They served faithfully, coped with extreme heat, when temperatures often reached 40-45°C, and brought hope, joy, and love to some of the most vulnerable children in our communities.
