There are many ways in which you can volunteer to help us to lift dignity and restore hope.
Whatever your skills and expertise, and even if you only have a little spare time, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for people who are not only able to make a regular commitment, but who can also align our values and ethos with their own. If you think that’s you, then please contact us at a2b@houseofopportunity.org and let’s start talking!
Talk – Raise awareness of A2B’s work by speaking at your church or small group, tell friends and neighbours and encourage them to support our work. The more people that know and support us – the greater impact we can have.
Specific roles – From time to time we seek volunteers in the UK to use specific skills and experience to help us achieve our goals and objectives.
No roles required at present.
Volunteer in Albania – We regularly seek individuals and small groups of people to help us with our work, whether it’s undertaking practical maintenance at the Day Centre, help with administration or translation, or simply spending time with and praying for an older person or family……we have lots of opportunities for you to share our work with us.

Visit
We believe that there is no better way to understand the work of A2B than to experience it for yourself.
We would expect that after a visit, members of a visiting team would commit to promoting the work of A2B in their church, workplace or community organisation, with a view to building financial, practical and prayer support.
A visit to A2B in Albania is an opportunity to be connected in a deeper way with the vision and the passion that we have for what we do. It helps provide a better understanding of our work and also some of the issues and problems that we face.
We encourage individuals, churches, small groups and mission teams to visit, to learn and to be involved. However, we do also want to be sure that we do not place too great a demand on our team in Albania and therefore want to manage all visits well and responsibly.
If you or your team would like to visit, please initially contact us at a2b@houseofopportunity.org so that we can discuss your plans and ensure that we have the capacity to properly host you.
We would also want to provide country orientation, briefing, and would require DBS checks on all participants.
Although we can advise, we regret that we are unable to be responsible for making travel arrangements or help pay towards costs.
